Fircroft College logoWe wanted to share with you this brilliant offer from Fircroft College of Adult Education in Selly Oak: the chance to achieve an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Level 3 Certificate in the Management of Volunteers in early 2021, either free of charge or at a heavily subsidised rate.

The qualification is aimed at volunteer managers and co-ordinators who have a hands-on role in managing volunteers. It will help you increase your skills and confidence in:

* Promoting volunteering, and recruiting volunteers
* Supervising and supporting volunteers
* Managing volunteer agreements
* Managing risk in relation to volunteers.

Here is the flyer from Fircroft College.

Thanks to funding from the West Midlands Combined Authority, you may be able to access this course free of charge (depending on your postcode and household income) or for a maximum of £150 – a fraction of the usual cost of ILM training.

Delivery will be a blend of residential and online lessons, starting in late January. You can apply via the Fircroft website  – and you are very welcome to contact project manager Neena Chauhan at neena.chauhan@fircroft.ac.uk to find out more.

Please note courses may be subject to change.
