Our funders

We want to thank the organisations that have given funding and resources to Birmingham Community Matters (BCM).

By supporting us they have, in turn, supported many community groups and projects across our city.

Thanks to a grant from the Big Lottery Fund which is made through the UK National Lottery) we have been able to hold BCM surgeries across Birmingham.

Birmingham City Council’s Local Innovation Fund Administered by the Neighbourhood Development and Support Unit, the Local Innovation Fund has enabled us to hold BCM surgeries in Bournville.

A grant from independent charitable foundation Barrow Cadbury Trust has enabled us to develop our peer-to-peer model, and commission experts from the Third Sector Research Centre at the University of Birmingham to carry out an evaluation of our approach.

An award secured through the Comic Relief Core Strength – Local Communities programme (administered by the Heart of England Community Foundation) is helping us to access the skills and knowledge we needed to spread the word about BCM.
