Exciting updates at Birmingham Community Matters

Happy 2020 from everyone at Birmingham Community Matters!

Our team is growing and so is our website and the number of events we’re planning to hold this year. It’s exciting and keeping us very busy. Please bear with us while we work behind the scenes to perfect our systems and get everything as right as we can.

One change – we’ve decided to start calling our surgeons ‘Community Matters Helpers’, as we feel this name more accurately conveys what we’re all about. (You can read about our past struggles with terminology here.)

Working with other organisations makes us stronger, so we are very pleased to have joined Locality, BVSC (Birmingham Voluntary Services Council), the Small Charities Coalition and NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations. We will of course pass on useful information that comes our way to all the small community groups and projects that we support.
